The purpose of the Foundation is to establish and maintain excellent standards in complementary health practices no matter what therapy is being practiced by any of our registered members. The SFTR is a multidisciplinary professional body, our codes of ethics seeks to address good practice in all our registered members at all times.

We exist to promote responsible, ethical, professional complementary health practices such as the correct use of the many alternative, complementary therapies listed within the register, to the public and conventional medical profession as and when required. All of our listed members are required to abide by our code of practice.

The SFTR seeks to educate as many members of the general public it can, as and when so that they can easily find a qualified therapist in their area as a result of their/your visit here.

Members credentials that have been verified by us receive the Foundations Verified Membership Certificate and SFTR Code Of Conduct. Any member listed on this register as having the 'Verified Certificate Holder' next to their name has been verified by the Foundation and is recommended as a suitable therapist to be 'considered' for consultation.

NOTE: Any member listed on this register as not having the 'Verified Certificate Holder' next to their name has not been verified/approved by the Foundation. This was the result of our previous free listings. The register is no longer free as of the 1st of January 2006 and only accepts new applicants who provide copies of their qualifications upon joining us.
Each registered member is totally responsible for the accuracy of their own listing on this register.
